Rimless built-up letters
We developed this letter profile in the early 90s, together with an industrial supplier for an international project in the automotive sector. The permanently elastic adhesive bond between the acrylic glass front and the metal side frame is a special feature.
For these letters we offer PVC bases in different variants: either inside or with milled supernatant. The bases are standard white, but can be painted in any desired colour. Acrylic glass bases can also be used to achieve direct and indirect lighting effects. In addition, it is possible to use acrylic glass fronts up to 12 mm thick.
Profile 6 is a very flexible product with many design options. Particularly inexpensive to produce in connection with pre-coated side frames on both sides.
We always have a large colour spectrum of pre-coated side frames available. These include black, matt black, silver RAl 9006, white RAl 9016, matt white, red RAL 3020 and grey 7016. We make special colours within 6 weeks. Profile 6 is also ideal for the use of stainless steel side frames.
Aluminium, stainless steel V2a 4301 3D, stainless steel V4a 4571 brushed, brass, copper, Corten steel, titanium gold or stainless steel in other colours
Powder coating, wet painting, effect painting, foil lamination, gold leaf and silver leaf coating
Many competitors also use the profile 6 designation, but make the letters with flat, bolted acrylic glass fronts, without paying sufficient attention to the expansion of acrylic glass.
